When paying your tax bill please ensure that you have with you:

  • Your tax bill from HMRC
  • Your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number

Your UTR number can be found on any letters that you have received from HMRC. If you are a client of ours and are unsure of what your UTR number is then feel free to give us a call and we can provide it for you.

Your tax bill from HMRC will tell you which HMRC bank account you should use, if you are not sure which account to use then use:

HMRC Cumbernauld

Sort code: 083210

Account no: 12001039

When paying your tax bill, you are required to enter your UTR number, when you do this you need to ensure that you add a ‘K’ at the end of your UTR e.g. 1234567890K.

If you are paying your corporation (limited company) tax, you can follow this link:

You will receive a payslip from HMRC which will tell you what HMRC bank account to use. If you are not sure, then use:

HMRC Cumbernauld

Your HMRC payslip will have a 17-character reference for the accounting period you are paying, this is the reference that you should use when paying your bill.
