What’s life like here at Lloyd Piggott?
We have a real mix of people: different ages, shapes and sizes, some qualified, others with lots of experience and each with differing lifestyles and needs.
Even so, everyone sits together – we don’t separate our departments – which means we work together to find the best answer to a client’s issue.
Support for you and your everyday routine
We aim to help with everyone’s lifestyle. So if your kids are ill at nursery, or you’re having a new washing machine delivered –we’re supportive in situations like this, and it’s fine to pick up a laptop and work from home. We also offer flexible working hours to fit around family life.
What we can do for you
Training for ACCA and ICAEW students
We offer a 3-year training programme, which allows our trainees to be paid whilst they study. All books and exam fees are paid for and you’ll also be given time off to go to college.
Ongoing progress and support
We also give our trainees a 3-year work progression plan. You’ll start off with learning the basics and over time you’ll move to preparing a variety of accounts, from sole traders to group companies, as well as discovering the mechanics of how the various taxes work.
Trainees also get the opportunity to visit clients regularly, and audit larger businesses whilst also providing our clients with advice to help them run their business.
Roles we’re looking for
We don’t have any positions available at the moment.
Sound good? Here’s the next steps
Submit an application
Your first step is to complete an application form.
This will give us a bit of background into your personality and who you are. You’ll also be able to attach your CV, as this is just as important.
Once we receive your application, if we like what we see, it’s interview time!
We’ll have a short telephone interview to hear a bit more about you and answer questions you might have about the firm and how we work.
In person interview
If the phone interview goes well, the next step is a face-to-face one.
This will be with one of our partners or team members. It’ll be an opportunity to test you on your technical knowledge and expertise, as well as discuss the role.
